Doña Chepina

This place was amazing, the food was so good. No frills restaurant that serves incredible authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. A little way out of the city centre but well worth a visit

Cute intimate setting in what felt like a local and residential area of Bilbao - we had an array of things on the menu including tacos, quesadillas, costras both meat and veggie options were rly good, especially birria tacos. Also enjoyed special non alcoholic bevs like horchata. Friendly service and gave us a seat at the bar even though fully booked. Best place we’ve eaten at in Bilbao so far

The most delicious tacos I have ever tasted in any Mexican restaurant. The staff are friendly and kind and the drinks are spicy and authentic. Amazing meal...everything was brilliant but the quesabirria will be in my dreams. Super busy on a Tuesday night so I would definitely recommend booking! Los majores tacos que he comido en mi vida. Los trabajadores aquí son simpáticos y amables. ¡Te recomiendo reservar!

By far the best Mexican in San Sebastián! The place is small and cramped being an old establishment. For me the best choice to enjoy it is take out or delivery. The food is astonishing, original flavors at it's best! You can see that the staff is all Mexican and give their best to produce high quality and original dishes. Worth the price and will definetly order again.

A fantastic local spot with delicious food! We had a wonderful time at Doña Chepin. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic and full of flavor. Both the waitress and the bartender were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great local place to enjoy a meal!

Going to Doña Chepa for some tacos on a casual evening during our trip in San Sebastian. If understood correctly their main establishment is mostly for takeaway and therefore they redirected us to a place “with the green carpet across a local BM supermercado” a bit further down the road. Seems like a good sign, since treasures are always hidden. Fortunately they let us in although we had no reservation, which was a must. Being bias and having a weak spot for Mexican food I was overjoyed just looking at their menu. This has everything you could hoped for and more. Coming from Belgium this quality and authenticity is something not easy to find. I could go on about how their tacos are crazy juicy and savoury, but for once you will have to trust me on this one. I just woke up in our hotel and left speechless. Was it all a dream? Can food be this good? Gracias por todo Doña Chepina!

I have had tasted Mexican food in other countries (England, Italy, USA) and this is the first time that it makes me remember my country Mexico, excellent service, food is amazing, and the environment with Mexican music and all the pictures lights and Mexican hat, it made a wonderful moment. I came in June and I just got back today December 6th and food it is really good

Amazing! We went here for a friends birthday and it was fantastic! The staff are super fun and very welcoming! The food was incredible! 100% recommend!!
